Surah Naziat. Surah Naziat is the 79th surah in the Quran Majid and it is composed of 46 ayats. The surah was revealed to Hazrat Muhammad SAW (PBUH). This surah gets its name from the occurrence of the word Naziat in the first ayat which signifies the angel (farista) who gently draws out the souls of the deceased. This Surah was sent down before Surah An-Naba. Its subject matter testifies that Surah an-Nāzi'āt belongs to the earliest period at Makkah.
